This is the final preparation drawing before executing the painted murals. The medium for the drawing is charcoal, using a range of techniques.
In 2020 I was commissioned to create a pair of Easter Murals, each 5m high by 2m wide, for their Easter Celebrations. They capture both the historical event, seen in the left mural, and a personal response to it, what I receive as someone with wonder for Jesus, a description of freedom from my past, which is seen in the right mural.
The drawing is A3 size, and heavy paper. Unframed.
Included with the drawing is a signed photograph of the murals installed in Hobart Baptist Church, and an artist statement card. Unframed.
