Discipleship Cross

This cross features drawings created by children from C3 Church Hobart's children's programs. After hearing the Easter story, the children expressed their understanding through artwork, which has been assembled to form this cross.

The cross is intentionally tilted forward—a "discipleship cross"—symbolising Jesus' call to pick up our cross and follow Him. Its substantial size makes it impossible for one person to carry alone, reminding us that following Jesus is a community journey. Together—with our children—we support one another in carrying our own cross.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
